Terms & Conditions

In short

Monerich is an offline expense tracker. We do not hold your money, we do not connect to banks, and we do not give financial advice. Use the numbers you enter as your source of truth, and keep your iPhone secure.

1. Acceptance

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Monerich iOS app (bundle com.monerich.app) and this website (https://monerich.com). By installing or using the app, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Using Monerich

  • You must be at least 13 years old and have an Apple ID that can install apps.
  • No account is required. Onboarding is 30 seconds, no login — sample wallets are seeded locally for first launch.
  • You are responsible for the numbers you enter. Double-check amounts, dates, and wallet selection.
  • Keep your device passcode/Face ID on. If someone can unlock your phone, they can open Monerich unless you enable App Lock.

3. Wallets & Your Data

Monerich models wallets as WalletType (Cash, BCA, Mandiri, BNI, BRI, GoPay, OVO, DANA, ShopeePay, Other). Balance is computed as initialBalance + income − expense. Budgets, recurring transactions and category suggestions run on device. There is no sync today; a future optional CloudKit private sync would require your explicit opt-in.

You own your data. Export it anytime via Settings → Export (JSON/CSV). Delete the app to delete the local database. We do not have a copy to restore unless you kept an export.

4. Pricing

Monerich is a paid app. You purchase it once on the App Store and receive all core features — unlimited wallets, transactions, categories, budgets and on-device offline storage. Any future add-ons (for example, CloudKit sync, CSV import for BCA Klik, receipt OCR, or App Intents) will be sold separately through Apple’s StoreKit as one-time purchases or subscriptions where noted. Prices, trial length and renewal terms (if applicable) will be shown at purchase and managed in iOS Settings → App Store → Subscriptions. No hidden charges. Refunds are handled by Apple per App Store policy.

For App Store compliance: we will not add a price change or subscription without updating these Terms and the App Store product page.

5. Intellectual Property

The Monerich name, logo, design system, and app code are owned by us and licensed to you, not sold. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the app except as permitted by Apple’s App Store Terms. Bank and e-wallet names (BCA, Mandiri, GoPay, etc.) are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to label wallets you create.

6. Prohibited Use

  • Do not use Monerich for unlawful purposes or to misrepresent balances to a third party.
  • Do not attempt to probe, scrape, or overload this website or the app.
  • Do not use the app as the sole system of record for tax or audit without keeping independent records.

7. Disclaimer

Monerich is provided “as is” without warranty. We are not a bank, financial institution, or financial advisor. The app displays what you entered; it does not verify that your real wallet holds that amount. Weekly trends, budget progress, and category suggestions are informational.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim (or IDR 150,000 if no amount was paid, for example under a promotional offer). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or data loss if you did not keep a backup export.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Indonesia, without prejudice to Apple’s App Store terms which may apply to purchases. The English version of these Terms is authoritative; a Bahasa Indonesia translation may be provided for convenience and will note if it conflicts.

10. Changes & Contact

We may update these Terms as the app evolves (for example, when paid features ship). We will change the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, surface a notice in the app. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
